Junior Shop Work:
Reflection
During my Junior year we learned about many different topics that helped develop my skills even more. Our Sunnyland project is one of these projects that helped my skill development. It was a game design project that helped us learn how to make a 2D platformer in Unity.
Some challenges that I faced during this project was with the combat and enemies. I struggled with making the code work because of the constant bugs and errors I had to fight. It taught me why I need to be more careful and how I need to figure out how to solve problems more efficiently.
This project was a lot of fun for me because it needed more creative input than other assignments. It also was fun because of the ability to interact with the program even after the assignment was finished. The skills I learned certainly will help me in the future as a programmer.
Reflection
During my Junior year we learned about many different topics that helped develop my skills even more. Our animal shelter website is one of these assignments that have helped me grow. This was an assignment for web design in which we had to create a mock animal shelter website to practice our skills with divi.
For my website I decided to base it off my favorite game series Fallout. This project was a lot of fun for me because of how I needed to fully make it with my own imagination. Throughout this project it taught me how using my imagination is always important in making a good final product.
Something that I struggled with on this project was with the menu. It was hard to get right because of the icon that I had to put with it. I managed to get it finished though through the use of a separate image component in the top right corner. This project has certainly helped me grow my skills as a programmer.
